According to a report from 9to5mac.com, a site dedicated to publishing news concerning Apple and its products, the tuner will be similar to the FM radio that is on the new iPod Nano, enabling listeners to immediately purchase a song from the iTunes store.
In addition to the iPhone, Apple is said to be working on placing the FM tuner on the iPod touch as well.
